That's a wrap!

The Crusaders went into Heidkamp Stadium on a chilly November 5th evening and played their hearts out. They left it all on the field against a superior Huber Heights Wayne team ultimately losing 21-28. Best of luck to Wayne in their future playoff games, and thank you for being so hospitable to our people. I'm debating turning this into an all-sports Moeller blog. I'll definitely be updating periodically throughout the basketball season, and possibly through baseball.

Good luck to the St. Xavier bombers against Colerain this weekend at Paul Brown Stadium. Represent the GCL well, WIN STATE!

MOELLER @ HUBER HEIGHTS WAYNE
*PLAYOFFS ROUND 1*

Huber Heights Wayne brings a lot to the table in this first round matchup. The Crusaders come in as a 7 seed taking on 2 seed Wayne. This one could go either way, just as the last 2 matchups of these teams came down to the final minute. The difference here is that the game will be played at Wayne, and the Warriors enter the game as heavy favorites. One common opponent, Elder, doesn't tell the whole story. While Wayne lost to the Panthers early 14-21, and Moe beat their GCL rivals 35-21, Wayne has played consistently great football and neither Moe nor Elder can claim the same. If the Crusaders arrive and keep their heads in the game, they will win a close one. If they do not, it could get ugly.

GO BIG MOE!
