MOELLER V WITHROW

This weekend's game features the Moeller Crusaders versus the Withrow Tigers. This will be Withrow's first foray into Division I football, following a successful run through Division II. The game is at the University of Cincinnati's Nippert Stadium at 1:45pm EST. There should be a good crowd on hand, as several high profile games, including the main event at 4:30 (St. X versus Colerain) are slated throughout the day. The forecast includes scattered thunderstorms, and temperatures in the mid 80s.

My thoughts on this contest are as follows: Withrow is definitely respectable in Division 1, contrary to what some may think. However, they have not played the caliber of a Moeller so far, and may be caught off guard by the difficulty of playing a quality Div. I team. Also, this year Moeller appears poised to have their best season under coach Bob Crable. Many starters return, and the offense is reported to be better than last year. Final prediction: Moeller 35, Withrow 14. I hope I'm not eating crow in about 5 hours. GO BIG MOE!

Huh... apparently it's pretty easy to spam blogs nowadays. Final Score: Moeller 38, Withrow 6 in a relatively clean hard fought game. Congratulations to the Withrow Tigers in making it to Division I. Looks like Moeller is as good as advertised this year.
